Educational Qualification for apprentice job vacancies at ER

Educational Qualifications required for the posts are given below:

Candidates must have passed class 10 or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

However, the minimum qualification is 8th Pass along with the trade certificate for the following trades:

  1. Welder (Gas and Electric)
  2. Sheet Metal Worker
  3. Lineman
  4. Wireman
  5. Carpenter
  6. Painter (General)

Age Limit: 15 to 24 years

Selection Procedure for apprentice job vacancies at Eastern Railway

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of marks. You can know about the process of marks calculation in the Official Notification.
