Educational Qualifications

The post-wise Educational Qualification, experience required, Payscale and Age Limit for the various posts of OIL recruitment 2019 is given below:

Senior Officer (Geology)

Educational Qualification: PG in Geology / Applied Geology of minimum 02 years duration with minimum 60% marks and having Mathematics at Graduation Level (excluding PG in Computational Seismology).
Age Limit: 29 Years
PayScale: Rs.60,000-1,80,000

Senior Officer (Geophysics)

Educational Qualification: PG in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics of minimum 02 years duration with minimum 60% marks and having Mathematics at Graduation Level (excluding PG in Computational Seismology).
Age Limit: 29 Years
PayScale: Rs.60,000-1,80,000

Senior Officer (Reservoir)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering of minimum 04 years duration with minimum 65% marks OR Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering / Technology of minimum 02 years duration with minimum 60% marks and having Engineering at Graduation level.
Age Limit: 27years for UG/ 29 Years for PG
PayScale: Rs.60,000-1,80,000

Senior Officer (Drilling)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering of minimum 04 years duration with minimum 65% marks (Excluding Automation/ Automobile/ Industrial / Power / Manufacturing/ Production / Mechatronics / Mining/ Marine Engineering etc.)
Age Limit: 27years
PayScale: Rs.60,000-1,80,000

Senior Officer (Production)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering of minimum 04 years duration with minimum 65% marks (Excluding Automation/ Automobile/ Industrial / Power / Manufacturing/ Production / Mechatronics / Mining/ Marine Engineering etc.) OR Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering / Technology of minimum 02 years duration with minimum 60% marks and having Engineering at Graduation level.
Age Limit: 27years for UG/ 29 Years for PG
PayScale: Rs.60,000-1,80,000

Selection process

Candidates will be selected based on two phases. 1st phase will be a written exam. 2nd Phase will comprise of Group discussion and personal interview.
