Steps to check NREGA payment status
To check your MGNREGA payment status online,
Step 1: Go to the NREGA official website
- First, go to the official website of MGNREGA at nregastrep.nic.in.
- On the main screen, click on the ‘state name’ under which you want to check your name.
- A new page will open.

Step 2: Select the district and panchayat
- On the new page, select your district from the list on the left side of the screen.
- Next, select your block and panchayat from the list on the left side of the screen.
- A new page will open.
- Now click on the ‘Job Card/employment register’ option under ‘Job Card’
Step 3: Select your Job Card list from the list
- The list of all the persons registered under the MGNREGA scheme from your gram panchayat will be displayed on the screen.
- Find your name from the list and click on the Job Card number.
- You can use the “Find in Page” option in your browser to find your name quicker.
Step 4: Check your NREGA payment status
- All the details related to your Job Card will be displayed on the screen.
- You can scroll down to the ‘Period and Work’ section to find the payment and its status for the work done.
You can also take a printout of the page if you want.
