Educational Qualification for Apprentices at IOCL Eastern Region

The educational qualifications required for various apprentices posts at IOCL Eastern Region are provided below:

For Trades: Candidates must have done regular Full-time ITI courses in the respective trade recognized by NCVT/ SCVT.

For Technician: Candidates must have a three years Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline from a recognized Institute/ University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST candidates).

For Accountant: Candidate must be a regular Full-Time Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) from a recognized Institute/ University.

For Data Entry Operator (Fresher Apprentices): Candidate must have passed Class XII or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) from a recognized Board/ Institute.

For Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders): Candidate must have passed Class XII or its equivalent with Skill Certificate holder in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) from a recognized Board/ Institute.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as of 31.10.2021.

Salary of Apprentices posts at IOCL Eastern Region

Apprentices selected at IOCL Eastern Region will receive a stipend as per industry standards.

Candidates are advised to register as a Trade Apprentice online in the Regional Directorate of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (RDSDE) portal at apprenticeshipindia.org
