In case you have forgotten the password, you have to ask the headteacher to reset your password. You can then follow the login process to log in again.
Steps to enter marks of students on the SMS Portal (Banglar Shiksha) online
To enter marks into the Banglar Shiksha SMS Portal,
Step 1: Go to the official website of Banglar Shiksha
- First, go to the official website of Banglar Shiksha at banglarshiksha.gov.in.
- Next, on the top section, click on the ‘SMS’ option.
- The SMS portal login page will open.
Step 2: Sign in to the SMS portal
- On the login page, make sure the ‘Teacher’ option is selected.
- Next, enter your school’s DISE Code.
- Next, enter your username and password.
- Next, enter the captcha code and click on the ‘Sign In’ button.
- The SMS portal dashboard will open.
Step 3: Select the appropriate evaluation
- In the menu, click on the ‘Evaluation’ option.
- Next, click on the appropriate evaluation type. (Summitive, Formative, etc.)
- The marks entry page will open for the selected evaluation.
Step 4: Enter the marks of the students
- Now, select, medium, class, subject, and other details.
- Next, click on the ‘Search’ button.
- Next, enter the marks of students.
- Next, click on the ‘Submit’ button to submit the marks of that subject.
Repeat the process for all subject and evaluation types.
In case you want to close the portal midway, you can click on ‘Save as Draft’ to save the marks entered until that point. You cannot make changes after you have submitted the marks.
In case you have made an error and want to correct it. You have to request your head teacher to unlock the marks entry page to make the correction.
