CIVIL JUDGE (JUNIOR DIVISION): 26

Educational Qualifications required for the posts are given below:

Enrollment as an advocate in the roll of Bar Council of any State or Union Territory in India.

A degree in Law from any recognized University or Institution.

Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali).

Selected candidates will be paid in the Pa Scale of Rs.27700 – Rs.44770.

The selection of the candidates will be done through West Bengal Judicial Service Examination, 2020 which will be held in three stages.

Preliminary Examination (MCQ Type)

Final Examination (Conventional Type – Written)

Personality Test.

The S.C./ S.T./ B.C. candidates of all States other than West Bengal will be treated as general candidates.
